My how time flies. It's been 3 weeks since I arrived in Taiwan and life has been so different since. I'm beginning to adjust to life here and have been working on finding my groove. Here is what I've learned so far:
1. Food is an adventure and a half. Since I can't ask what is in it I have to guess and sometimes I win sometimes I loose.
2. Driving is not for the faint of heart. Laws, lanes, and speed limits are all suggestions. You must go the suggested speed limit or you risk injury.
3. My students are amazing... nough said.
4. Teaching ESL is the hardest thing I've ever done, and I'm not only enjoying the challenge but feeling like I'm thriving.
5. My coworkers are amazing and very quickly becoming friends. I can't wait to see where this year takes us.
6. I'm much braver than I thought, and this adventure ismshowing me that.
7. I can and will make the most of every day here.
Tomorrow we're off to Sun Moon Lake and my first night market. I'll post about them later.
